Through the storm

THROUGH THE STORM
Hey my friends !
It's a very special image I'm glad to share with you today
because this one is one my first exploration from SW visuals with my friend Ash Thorp,
and also one of my first try of concepting/painting cinematic images after months of practice, 
it was something like 3yrs ago now.

My main goal and training was to work with mood/fog/smoke properly. 
You can see that this image is just a textbook case for this purpose ahah.

This exploration is part of a small series I'm gonna share. 
The idea and compo here is the result of discussions and passion about the Star Wars universe with Ash Thorp.
I remember that quickly after those pieces, we started to make the Far Far Away series of paintings.
